Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Association “Enfants d’Algérie” (Children of Algeria) |
The Embassy of Algeria in Canada was pleased to join the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Enfants d’Algérie Association (AEA) during a fundraising evening held in Montreal in January 30th, 2010. The event which had a tremendous success with the participation of nearby 300 members of the Algerian community, aimed at raising funds likely to enable this association to further develop its actions. The AEA led by Mrs. Zohra Mimouni has provided in recent years multiform assistance to sick kids, orphans or poor throughout different regions of the national territory (Boumerdes earthquake, Dely-Ibrahim earthquake, Babl-el Oued floods, Taghit youth hostel etc..). The Embassy congratulates the association’s voluntary members for their generosity and efficiency and for giving their noble values of solidarity and voluntarism.
