Visit of the Wali of Algiers, Mr. Mohamed Kebir Addou
to Canada from 13 to 17 October 2008

At the invitation of Mr. Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris, President of the International Association of Mayors in charge of Capitals and Metropolis partially or entirely Francophones (AIMF), the Wali of Algiers, Mohamed Kebir Addou, took part at the AIMF General Assembly’s workshops, which took place from 14 to 16 October 2008 in Quebec City. On the sidelines of his participation in this conference, the Wali of Algiers was also received on 14 October 2008 by Mr. Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of Montreal. The meeting held in the presence of the Ambassador of Algeria in Canada and the Consul General of Algeria in Montreal, enabled in identifying a number of sectors to boost cooperation between the cities of Algiers and Montreal.
